I am grateful for the money and flexibility my job affords. I am grateful to not be unemployed. That being said, my job is like having a transfusion of the colour grey injected into my veins.

Toxic workplace!!!!

I’d been at my company for several years so my boss encouraged me to interview for the assistant manager position. The company instead hired someone who lasted 5 DAYS in the role. I quit.

We sell overpriced stretchy pants for a dollar above minimum wage. Why do you want me to do everything AND clean out the disgusting trash can with curdled milk.

We work every single second of the day. We literally have to stop and start timers for everything we do. Want to go to the toilet? Stop your timer first!

Managers are non existent and rigging employee giveaways for themselves

Educators are the most underpaid and overworked people in this country. I hate everyone that enables this treatment and acts like nothing can be done. We deserve better. We deserve to thrive!

I graduated with flying colours and now I clean mold off the ground and talk to customers who look down on me all day for a living. Screw retail.
